Greg Davidson

Greg has over 30 years of industry experience, having served in management consulting, permanent and interim CIO roles, and ERP software executive roles. CIO experience includes serving as the top IT executive for a Fortune 300 retailer in a significant people, process and technology restructuring role.

Greg specializes in delivering private equity companies with IT due diligence, divestiture, and merger integration initiatives. He also helps companies optimize their investment in Information Technology, reduce IT SG&A expense, transform Big Data into actionable information, select mission critical software, perform project recovery, and streamline IT organizations.

He has consulted with both small and large global companies and his industry experience includes manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, retail transportation management, third-party logistics and automotive.

Greg founded two successful software companies that were acquired in 1992 and 1995 by publicly-held, California-based software companies. He has spoken and written on Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, the CEO-CIO relationship, change management and supply chain topics.

In 2012 Greg was awarded CIO of the Year by Crain’s Business Magazine for companies $100M to $1B.  Greg has earned ITIL’s highest Service Manager accreditation and is also the founder of the Society for Information Management’s Arkansas Chapter.

Greg graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Wayne State University.
